PROCESSING FLAX AND MAKING PAPER
In this workshop, we will process organic flax (grown by the stewards of the linen project) into fibres by means of breaking, scutching and hackling. We will then pick the last imperfections out of the flax, cut it into small pieces and put it in the Hollander (the pulp machine). The paper can be made in different sizes: A6, A5 and A4. The paper must dry for several days in a press, after which it will be atlier sent to you.
