Winter Bloom Presentation
During the winter months of December and January, the gallery will feature colourful new work by Susi Riva (Laboratoriocarta), Danièle Knirim (Hiervandaan), Corina de Vette (Prien) and Annelies Morris. All made from paper, of course!
Susi creates beautiful flowers from old archive paper and crepe paper, and she has also made paper vases to hold these flowers. A lovely replacement for your bouquet of flowers on the table, and sustainable too!
Artist Danièle uses vintage paper, which she finds at markets and in second-hand shops, to create her own dream collages. People often take centre stage in these. Her works are always framed in a unique way.
Corina is not just any bookbinder. You can see from her books, folders and boxes that this is a true professional at work, always with a personal touch. This time, she also made collages inspired by nature. Come and take a look if you are looking for a special and original gift for the coming festive season.
Annelies is fascinated by paper, such as wallpaper, which she uses extensively for interior styling. She started experimenting with cutting, sewing and embroidering wallpaper. Now she enjoys working with natural colours and layers on different types of paper. Her themes are nature, historical ladies and still lifes.
Winterbloei is on display from 28 November to 31 January.
