In this workshop, you will learn to make paper from different fibres: cotton, hemp and asparagus peels. First, we boil the asparagus peels to release the cellulose. Then we process the fibres in the grinder (the Hollander). For making, we use tall frames and deckles in A6, A5 and A4 formats, where you can choose a desired thickness and type for each sheet. You can mix endlessly with the three different ingredients. The pure asparagus paper is brown transparent. We press the sheets and after about 4 days you collect the dried sheets or we send them to you. You can also draw and paint on this paper.
